Five years ago I was searching for ways to relax my mind and body when I stumbled upon a flyer for a Dru Yoga class in my area, I had never considered yoga before but something about this class jumped out at me. I went along to the first class and have never looked back!
There was something about Dru that resonated with me and I knew I had to follow this path. I am a health care worker with a very busy mind and always found it very difficult to relax, but Dru has helped me to transform my life.
I am now a Dru Yoga teacher and I have experienced so many benefits of this gentle but powerful style of yoga and cannot wait to share them with this community!
Dru is a gentle but potent style of yoga that is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. The movements in a Dru class are quite soft and flowing, and a typical class includes activations (warm up), energy block release sequences, postures, flowing sequences and a long guided relaxation.

Mariana Suarez is a Certified Dru Yoga Teacher, who completed 300 hours of training in April 2012 after three years of profound studies. Since then, she has been sharing her passion and love for Dru Yoga with hundreds of people that have regularly come to her classes. She is also a Dru Kids and Teens instructor and loves to expand herself with continuous self-development, education and experiences in yoga, meditation, spirituality, and nature as our main tool for healing.
